This role is to support the solution engineering teams throughout Western Europe to be successful in positioning and selling an exciting solution in the Oracle CX Cloud\: CX Sales (Sales Force Automation, Sales Performance Management, Customer Data Management, Partner Relationship Management). 

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to inspire and bring innovation to our prospects and customers in their digital transformation of their sales processes, lead our sales teams in Western Europe to success selling CX Sales and lead and inspire a community of solution engineers to become experts in the Sales domain.

This role would suit a candidate who has Sales solution implementation or solution engineering experience or has experience managing Sales programs within a corporate environment.

Requirements\:

•    Relevant Sales domain experience; Over 5 years driving successful Sales programs. 
•    Leadership skills; Although the role is as an individual contributor, becoming the CX Sales community leader in Western Europe for the Oracle sales teams and the CX Sales evangelist for our prospects, customers and partners, the candidate must show experience and ability to lead sales teams and partners to success selling CX Sales, and lead and inspire our customers in the digital transformation of their Sales programs;
•    Strong communicator; Candidate must be confident in developing and presenting business propositions around Customer Experience and Sales programs, relevant to senior business stakeholders in a customer.  
•    Proficient in English
•    Solution skills; the candidate needs to be able to show the ability that they are capable of designing technical solutions based around Oracle’s CX solution suite that are convincing and compelling in addressing the prospect’s business issues.
•    Ideally, the candidate has had involvement in CX-led digital transformation; likely roles include senior positions in Customer Experience, Customer Acquisition, Customer Care and Digital Strategy.

About the role

The role will be working directly with clients or supporting sales and solution engineering teams with their client engagements in Western Europe to shape their customer’s strategic digital agenda and future direction. 
The solution consultant is expected to drive Sales success in Western Europe, act as a virtual community leader with Oracle and as an evangelist for CX Sales with our prospect, customers and partners.

Key responsibilities\:

•    Demonstrating innovation and thought leadership around Sales programs and digital CX transformation
•    Creation and articulation of the business value linked to CX Sales
•    Early discovery and engagement with sales teams and their prospective clients to uncover key needs
•    Developing the knowledge of the CX Sales offering within the Western European CX solution engineering organization
•    Sharing our customer’s expectations in the development of CX Sales with the Oracle product management teams
•    Build a partner network for implementing CX Sales and complementing the Sales offering with additional related services
•    Delivering high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations. 

Working at Oracle as a Solution Engineer in the Western European CX Center of Excellence
The solution engineer (SE) role at Oracle provides a varied and exciting environment to work in. It gives you a high degree of individual responsibility as an individual, but within the wider remit and opportunities of working with a true multi-national organization.  The SE role also allows for a spectrum of skills from the very technical to the very business focused and the chance to learn and extend in either direction.

We expect our SEs to work in a committed way with our sales teams, customers and prospects, but within this there is a high degree of working flexibility allowed.  We encourage a mix of working in an office environment to engender team working, and working from home. Once the COVID pandemic is under control, travelling to meet clients across Western Europe and the need to stay overnight is occasionally required, but our SEs are not expected to be away from home for extended periods. We also expect our staff to be self-motivated and committed to their work and trust them to organize their schedules themselves.

The role requires the SE to support sales teams and their opportunities across Western Europe and hence will require travelling when necessary.
