Component delivery (MTAC) is manufacturing world-class Cylinder heads, Connecting rod, Engine blocks and proto and test parts globally for Wärtsilä.

Our priorities are high quality parts, delivery precision and manufacturability of the parts.
 
We are now looking for a Project Manager, Component Delivery to join our team in our Component Delivery Machining area.

Location

The role is offered on a permanent basis and will be based in Vaasa, Finland.
The work address will be in the brand-new Smart Technology Hub in Vaskiluoto.

Are you ready to improve our new Machining efficiency and to plan and do automation systems of efficiency in manufacturing systematic and continues improving? 

What will you be doing? 

As a Project Manager, Component Delivery your work will focus on these responsibilities and
Strong knowledge of machine automation in the areas below is required.

  • Competence in project management.
  • Executing of design documentation.
  • Knowledge of design software (Microsoft Office Applications, AutoCAD)
  • Knowhow of NX for manufacturing systems or equivalent.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills is advantage.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and verbal.


The below will help you to shine in this role:

  • Knowhow of robotics.
  • Knowhow of machining method.
  • Electronics knowledge.
  • ERP systems, SAP etc.
  • Knowhow of NC control. Siemens Sinumerik systems or others.
  • Knowhow of pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.
