We are now looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join the team, where you will be working on the touchpoints where the customers engage with our products and services throughout the entire customer lifecycle across all countries of Telia Company. As a Senior UX Researcher in the global Telia Design System team, you will be working with designers and product teams across the company. You will be accountable for strategies, guidelines and setting principles. We’re a remote team that’s passionate about what we do, wanting to make a real difference!

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Identifying and driving longer-term initiatives to influence roadmap direction.
• Being a strategic and critical partner for product, engineering, and design throughout the product development cycle, carrying out short-term research objectives to participate in experimentation, validating iterations and encouraging new objectives
• Partnering up with other UX researchers, stepping into different settings and teams, taking on a central and lead role, both for methods, tools and sharing of insights globally
• Working closely with business, technology, and project management to ensure that we meet strategy and project objectives, always with our users in mind
• Facilitating workshops and leading other researchers.

Is this you?

You are a systems thinker seeing the bigger picture with a strong appreciation for cognitive sciences and service design, being genuinely curious and mastering the methods to get the best insights depending on context and need.

Collaboration is key so you should be comfortable to jump into different team settings taking a lead role as well as being a good communicator, helping to guide others. You’re good at prioritizing towards set goals, always seeing solutions and ways forward - being passionate about creating sustainable solutions that bring value to both our internal users and end customers.

• You know how to empathize, both with end users as well as co-workers in different roles in the organization
• Goal-oriented, with a strong can-do attitude and progressive mindset
• Team-player that can teach non-designers design thinking and user centric design methodology
• Strong on self-leadership, finding ways forward and prioritizing seamlessly
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communicator who can evangelize research
• Constant learner and always growing - personally and with the team.

As a researcher, you:

• Are an excellent communicator who can provide valid arguments and engage with different kinds of people and roles, adapting to their needs
• Familiar with, and actively practicing Design Thinking methodology
• A systems thinker, familiar with structured assets such as design systems
• Used to work in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
