My name is Mika Ikonen, and I am leading the Cloud Development team within our Network Cloud & Continuous Delivery unit. We are looking forward to onboard a new Network Cloud Developer to our Cloud Development team who will be focused on Front-End development. Your location can be in Helsinki or in Stockholm.

Is this your next opportunity?

As a member of the Cloud Development team, you will develop systems and applications targeting network orchestration and automation. This is a new and key component in the network and will tie together other network entities to enable full automation and orchestration through SW programming and restful APIs

As a developer you understand how the network gains evolves through automation both for life cycle management, closed loop automation and service assurance point of view. You also have good understanding of the end-to-end requirements of the service; functional and non-functional requirements and provide input to other network domains. As we also use sourced SW, you will have tight cooperation with suppliers to reach a joint success with the automation transformation.

Additionally, you will have a role when it comes to system design and aiding stakeholders in the decision-making process to secure quality and customer satisfaction. We value collaboration and knowledge sharing and therefore this is a great team to develop and grow.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• In general, we are highly focused on automation
• We Develop back-end APIs with Python (Flask).
• We Create front-end UIs with JavaScript and Vue.js.
• We write test cases in Robot Framework and Cypress.
• We create and maintain Ansible play books for automatic configuration and installation of our k8s infrastructure.
• We build and deploy Docker images and containers with docker-compose on Jenkins pipelines
• We work with VMware Telco Cloud Automation (CNF/VNF’s, NFVI, NFVO)
• We Use and develop Keycloak to protect our applications
• We follow SAFe & Scrum practises

Your experience:

• Experience on front-end development (e.g., Vue.JS, Angular, React) is highly appreciated
• Web service, REST APIs
• Test driven development (e.g., Robot Framework, Cypress, etc.)
• Familiarity of Micro-services development, Docker & Kubernetes
• Python & scripting, or another comparable language
• SQL, Linux OS
• Code Repository (e.g., GIT, Stash, Artifactory)
• Tracking tools (e.g. Jira, BugZilla)
• Understanding of CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Understanding of test driven development (e.g., Robot Framework, Cypress, etc.)
