NAPA is the leading software for ship design. Our CAD system is used by most large shipyards around the world. Now NAPA Design Solutions is developing a new product called NAPA Viewer. In this web application ship designers, authorities, and other stakeholders can collaborate on the ship’s 3D model in completely new ways.

The team is now looking for a new colleague to work remotely, at our office in Finland or Romania, or in a hybrid mode.

The role – what would you do?

In this role, you will be building NAPA’s web offering, developing its functionality, and innovating new features. You will be part of a team of strong professionals working with agile methods and modern web technologies.

To dive deeper into the heart of the NAPA web platform, we would appreciate you having familiarity with modern backend technologies and cloud services and having a clear vision about how secure, scalable, and maintainable web services are made.

Our tech stack includes:

• TypeScript / Vue.js / Node.js

• C# / ASP.NET

• Tech Soft 3D HOOPS Communicator

• Git / Jira / Bitbucket / Bamboo

What are we looking for?

The perfect fit for this role would have:

• Solid senior-level experience in web development
• Experience with at least some of the technologies in our stack (see above)
• Knowledge about modern web application architectures
• Experience in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable web services
• Experience in automated testing methods
• Good grasp of software reliability and maintainability
• Fluent English skills

It would be a bonus if you also had:

• Knowledge about modern cloud services
• A degree in computer science

Your NAPA family and job location

We have offices in Finland (Helsinki) and Romania (Galati). You can choose to work either at one of our offices, remotely from your home, or with a combination of both.

You will be working closely with your local and global colleagues from various teams like software development, UX designers, DevOps, and sales. We speak English in all our locations, and it’s our working language.
