We are looking for a Solution Area Architect to strengthen Elisa’s IT operations. We are responsible for developing Elisa’s support process related IT systems eg. Procure to Pay, Digital signature, Financial related tools and their integrations to surrounding systems.

You’ll enjoy this Architect role, if analyzing tasks and making decisions quickly is natural to you and you are able to think innovative approaches and long-term solutions. As a person you are goal-oriented, ready to grow and learn at this area of expertees and understand how to best direct your efforts to achieve best results for Elisa. This includes the noble art of balancing the expectations of users and business stakeholders at the same time taking into account technical and financial aspects.

In this role:

• You are responsible of driving us towards full digitalization of our IT Core systems and creating roadmaps how to achieve defined target states
• You are in close co-operation with our enterprise architecture program members
• You have the opportunity to work closely with Elisa’s support functions like HR, Finance unit, Security and Procurement units and have an impact on our technical choices and how we build our solutions to the Elisa employees.
• Your daily work will include discussions with internal shareholders and providing technical opinions for your business-oriented colleagues.
• Other important part is helping development teams with technical questions and making sure the bigger picture is taken into consideration while we are shifting our services to cloud based, API-driven and data centric models.
• You’ll main focus will be in our Finance systems, but you will also support the whole business area.
• In addition to internal shareholders, you’ll work closely with other Architects, Production managers and Solution Managers.

You are able to see the bigger picture and how will our technical choices effects it. Our stack contains: SAP, Atlassian products, Basware P2P, Canon Therefore, Arre (IFRS15), Fatman (IFRS16) and Nomentia Cash Management.

We hope that you have strong communication skills in written and spoken, and the ability to interact effectively with both business and IT stakeholders - fluency both in English and in Finnish is required.
