As a Devops Lead, you’ll have a unique opportunity to join our ambitious growth company and re-imagine the way music education works. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a seasoned and talented DevOps Team Leader to work alongside like-minded and talented individuals and bridge the space between our backend development and operations. The team works with cutting edge technologies, building the infrastructure which enables our services to operate at a large scale, serving millions of people. You will be responsible to define, prioritize and implement solutions and drive the SRE team’s efforts, as well as lead our efforts in introducing the Devops culture to more teams.

What you'll do

• You’d be working with AWS services, Linux servers, Fabric tasks, Docker images, Terraform provisioning definitions, and Kubernetes (AWS EKS) in dev, staging, and production clusters to build/migrate/maintain/optimize infrastructure for our services.
• You will lead and explore new solutions to improve our DevOps processes.
• We use Jenkins as our CI, with most of the pipelines written in Groovy. You’d work with your team on making sure our dev, staging, and production pipelines are stable and fast.
• You’ll drive the vision on how we do devops at Yousician.
• Leading complex problem-solving activities to define issues, assess current state, design and test solutions, and lead implementation of solutions.

Who you are

• Experience with Python, IaaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar), and container orchestration (Kubernetes, or similar)
• Experience as an engineering manager with a few direct reports
• A person who wants a leadership role and be able to drive their own agenda and vision
