ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Web Developer at ultimate.ai, you’ll be an integral part of the team from day one.

Key responsibilities: 

You'll be involved in the development of our web dashboard that is used to control the content of our AI, both on the frontend and the backend side. You will also be working on integrating our AI to new web based chat platforms and maintaining the current chat integrations. You'll work closely with all members of the team to build, test and iterate quickly, with direct guidance from our CTO. 

You'll be responsible for designing and implementing components for the ultimate.ai solution, writing robust, reusable code that focuses on usability, scalability and innovation. 

Things happen at breakneck speed at ultimate.ai and you'll need to think creatively to help the team get from A to B. Our work is ever evolving so you'll have plenty of opportunities to make your mark and take on increasing responsibility as time goes on. 

You will be writing code on the newest versions of Javascript, working with a Nodejs based backend applications and a react based frontend that are using Mongodb as their database. 

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a collaborative, innovative problem solver that takes pride in producing logical, simple and effective solutions to what are often very complex issues.

You’ll be our ideal candidate if...

• You've completed a computer science degree (or a degree in a similar field) or worked full time as a junior developer
• You are familiar with latest Javascript versions and have built websites using Nodejs and ReactJS. Knowledge of MongoDB and google cloud is a plus.
• You find agile software development exciting
• Experience doing third-party software integrations would be helpful
• You have skills and experience in writing robust, production ready code with unit tests and have a bit of a fixation for documenting your work
• You are a strong team player
• You have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
