I’m Tommy Norrgård and my team and I are looking forward to onboard an enthusiastic colleague who has the motivation to strengthen our Touchpoint DevOps team as a DevOps Engineer. The team you will be a part of is consisting of highly skilled engineers working with cloud-based communication and collaboration services using applications and infrastructure with a high focus on virtualization and automation in Telia’s private and public clouds, for example TelcoCloud (NFVi) among other platforms.

It’s a cross-border team located in Sweden, Finland and Denmark but we apply our competence and skills within all countries where the services are launched. The team’s main responsibility is running DevOps tasks with high-quality and solid customer experience. The team is a part of our Agile Release Train that uses SAFe. We are not quite a 100% CI/CD company, but we are getting there, and you would have an important role in contributing to us achieve our goals. As Telia provides high quality services with high availability there might be times when you need to contribute to service windows and on-call tasks, outside office hours.

• Fluent in English, both in written and verbal  

• Fluent in one Nordic or Baltic language, both in written and verbal

 Your Skills and Qualifications:    

• High skills of development tools and code governance

• High skills of object-oriented programming (PHP, JavaScript, Python)  

• Skills of DevOps, development, innovation, agile ways of working/SAFe  

• Good knowledge of Linux or Windows  

• Knowledge of application operations, automation, and troubleshooting  

• Networking; TCP/IP, Proxy, DNS, Firewalls, Load-balancers and IMS/SIP

• CI/CD; AWX, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Github and Robot Framework  

• Container tools; Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher  

• Virtualization; VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP (public/private cloud technologies)  

• Code languages; SQL, Bash  

• Experience of ITIL and SAFe
