JOB DESCRIPTION

Oracle Western Europe Applications Solutions Consulting team is hiring dynamic and energetic individuals to help our strong customer base maximize their investment on on-premise applications including Oracle E-Business Suite, Siebel, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and Hyperion. 

Our role, acting as our customers trusted advisor, is to help create a future vision with high-profile customers to modernise their Oracle Applications footprint, recommending appropriate on-premise and Cloud Applications to enhance the services they deliver.

This role requires a proactive individual who is able to use their experience to positively impact go-to-market strategy and direction both with individual customers, and at a market level, to increase revenue from Oracle’s on-premise Applications customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and map customer needs to our solutions in new sales opportunities
  • Provide a variety of Presales Services (Discovery, Presentation, Demonstration, RFX response, solution scoping, Roadmap updates etc.) required during the sales process
  • Work with sales teams, partners and customers to design and propose winning solutions from both the on-premise and Cloud portfolios, to drive Oracle sales and our customers success.
  • Help development of pipeline through support of Marketing activities
  • Work proactively with Partners to expand Oracle’s customer reach
  • Support development of cloud business by pro-actively proposing hybrid solutions
  • Provide input and feedback to Product Management and Development teams to enhance Oracle’s future product offerings

  REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE

  • Solid background as a solution consultant or Architect with EBS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Hyperion or Siebel with typically 10+ years of experience
  • Experience of working in a presales environment supporting a sales teams
  • Broader experience across Oracle’s application and technology portfolio 
  • Ability to understand customer's industry and core business processes
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills to help customers and employees understand your direction and recommendations.
  • Strong experience in customer discovery, identifying additional sales opportunities, with ability to influence the customer’s commitment to Oracle solutions
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve challenging goals
  • Understating of our SaaS offerings and previous experience of Hybrid solutions beneficial.
  • Any additional language an advantage (French, German Italian, Spanish)
