Test Automation Architect

What you will be doing

We are developing one of the leading Financial Management software in the market called Procountor and the quality of the product is our priority. As Test Automation Architect you will be responsible for the current and the future architecture and technological choices of test automation. You will mainly concentrate in designing technical solutions, instructing, facilitating and mentoring teams and colleagues.

Your tasks include doing Proof of concepts and analyzing which framework suits the application, improving processes, reporting, quality and maintainability (e.g. reduce time for test execution) of test automation. You will work close with one other Test Automation Architect and 20 other QA professionals. In addition, you will collaborate with other experts from our product development team of over 100 people.

With these strengths you are one step ahead

• Passion and experience in Quality Assurance
• Proven track record of Test Automation and TA metrics (e.g. test coverage)
• Skills and experience in static code and test analysing
• Experience in API testing and other testing without UI
• Some experience in cloud service e.g. AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL and web-based software
• Proven record of test planning and management and ability to see the ‘big picture’
• Ability to work fluently in both spoken and written English. Finnish language skills are appreciated, but not mandatory.

Technologies we use today

• Our key technologies include Azure, MySQL, JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium, Ansible and Git. Our core codebase is mostly written in Java, and we use the open-source Vaadin framework for providing a beautiful front-end to the end user.
• For UI test automation, we are using Selenium and JBehave Framework. For API testing we are using Postman'
• Machine Learning team uses Python
