Job Description


We are looking for a positive and engaging Programme Coordinator to join our company. The Programme Coordinator will handle the logistics for daily Experiences, in an effort to facilitate the job of the Wilderness Guides and Guest Services Attendants.

Programme Coordinator responsibilities are:

  • Handling logistics to make the Experience possible, such as making phone calls, managing inventory, motivating employees and coordinating transportation.
  • Keeping records regarding event planning resources, participant interest, and other notable information, such as injuries or behavioral incidents.
  • Reporting medical concerns or observations.
  • Organizing inventory items such as overalls, gloves, boots, balaclavas, skis, and snowshoes.
  • Managing and motivating team members, planning and organizing day-to-day activities.
  • Dealing with local suppliers, maintaining records of activity costs and providing recommendations to increase marketing efforts.
  • Promote effective working relationships with external suppliers to ensure the appropriate and timely provision of resources.


Programme Coordinator requirements are:

  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Valid B drivers' license
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Event Management or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
  • Patience and compassion when dealing with staff and guests.


It would be beneficial for a Programme Coordinator to:

  • Speak other languages: Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish and French are an advantage.
  • Have knowledge of the local area
  • Photography skills
  • Experience on the field


Pay, duration and benefits:

  • Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period.
  • Starting in November and until the end of March.
  • Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
  • Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
  • If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €200,00/month
