As a Monitoring Tools Solution Owner in Nordcloud Finland you will be:

• Responsible for tools like PagerDuty, Datadog, Pingdom
• Contributing to Unified Monitoring (own tool to manage cloud-native monitoring with terraform)
• Improving our internal CI/CD processes
• Developing automation and IaC

Our ideal candidate:

• Has public cloud platform experience, with at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Has experience working with PagerDuty, Datadog and/or Pingdom
• Is a pro when it comes to monitoring everything
• Has no problems using shell, Git, and other basic development tools
• Is self-directed and -motivated
• Feels comfortable having conversations in English and can evaluate projects from the technical and business perspectives

Skills that would be a plus:

• Experience with old monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabix, Cacti, Incinga
• PowerBI
• CloudNative solutions (CloudWatch, ClaudTrail, and others)
• Logs analytics
• DevOps mindset (Terraform, Gitlab, CI/CD)
• Programming/Scripting experience (Python, Bash, GO Lang, PowerShell)
• Linux and Windows knowledge
• Cloud Certifications
• Experience with Lambdas, event pipelines
• Experience in configuration management and orchestration tools
• Experience in configuration, release, and change management
• ITIL experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills and vendor management
• Ability to prioritize and to work effectively and autonomously with a diverse set of clients in an international organization
• Customer focus
