We are now looking for an Agile Coach, Future Fuels to join our team working for a better future.

Location: The preferred location for the position is in Vaasa, Finland.

What you will be doing

Main responsibility is to coach and support teams & leaders during their agile transformation journey and promote & support the cross-functional collaboration in the end-to-end value chain (from early R&D to lifecycle).
 

This means that agile coach is:

  • Familiar with the agile values and principles and promotes the implementation of those with the common sense.
  • Familiar with different existing agile methodologies & frameworks (like Scrum, SAFe etc.) and helps teams & leaders to implement and adjust those based on various & changing needs.
  • Able to facilitate and conduct different agile ceremonies, like program planning days, demos, retrospectives and general follow ups according to needs.
  • Open minded and ready to take ownership of actions. Stand up when needed to talk and possess good presentation skills.
  • Promoting transparency and visual leadership by making targets, tasks and deliverables visible together with the teams.
  • Supporting teams and leaders with the target setting and big picture handling based on needs.
  • Networking over organizational boundaries and also supporting others to do that. Supporting the smooth collaboration between different value chain parties and synchronizing the increments / sprints & ways of working with other programs.
  • Organizing and facilitating knowledge sharing and problem-solving sessions/workshops for the program in order to increase and widen the knowledge of the program team members.
  • Keeping active dialogue with the program team members related to agile transformation, new ways of working and continuous learning culture. Listening the needs of program team members and working to maintain and increase the team spirit.
  • Encouraging each program team member to come up with ideas and supporting the teams in bringing them into action.
  • Constantly searching for improvements in the teams’ way of working, but still always keeping the overall productivity in mind.
  • Keeping basics of agile trainings and coordinating other agile related trainings based on needs in co-operation with the HR, external training providers and other agile professionals.
  • Aware of different agile related tools. Establishes the tools for the program team based on their needs to follow up and adjust tasks in timely manner to meet the targets.
  • Creative and willing to test new ideas even though the risk of failing exists. Also giving and receiving feedback in the spirit of continuous learning.
  • Interested in people and their behaviour. Demonstrates & supports servant leadership and is willing to develop his/her leadership skills.
  • Speaking fluent English and is additionally able to communicate either in Finnish or Swedish.
  • Understanding the fundamentals of organizational behaviour & culture. 
  • Experienced in similar roles or involved in other change management programs.
