We at Elisa are strengthening our high-capacity service provider and network operator infrastructure and we want to be on the top level also in the future.

Now we’re looking for a professional network expert for a lead role to develop Elisa’s IP network and planning.

In this Technology Manager role, you will be the lead for Elisa’s IP network development and design process ensuring Elisa’s overall network quality and service connectivity. You will be working with the best network expert teams covering different roles of network architecture development, automation and end-to-end productization. You will also work closely together with Elisa procurement on RFQ negotiations and take part in negotiations with other operators to ensure the commercial frame for Elisa IP network.

What do we expect from you?

You have previously gained an extensive background handling large projects to completion either in a role of Project Manager, Lead or Product Owner. Additionally, we hope you have experience in high availability, backbone design and architecture. You have…

• Solid IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols as well as network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically BGP, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms and understanding of both network hardware and packet forwarding architecture
• Solid language skills in both Finnish and English to support you in communicating with various stakeholders

You’re also familiar with practical SDN applications as your daily activities will involve applying networking knowledge towards SDN and Network Automation tools. An applicable higher education degree (university or university of applied sciences) or equivalent work experience are seen as an advantage.
