Now we have a fascinating technology lawyer position open at WithSecure's Legal & Compliance team! WithSecure's Legal & Compliance has a core role in supporting WithSecure’s best-in-class cyber security business worldwide. The team provides advice and supports WithSecure's business units and functions in all legal and compliance areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a business oriented legal counsel for WithSecure’s cyber security software technologies.
• Provide legal advise to R&D, product management, cyber security researchers, IT and innovators of WithSecure.
• Negotiate agreements related to WithSecure's technology partnerships and IT.
• Work in the areas of laws relating to protecting ideas, innovations as well as rights to use and building protection methods for WithSecure’s intellectual property rights.
• Support in regulatory and compliance matters related to WithSecure's technologies.
• Opportunity to work also with personal data protection, cyber security policy areas and many other regulatory or compliance related topics relevant for WithSecure's businesses.

What are we looking for?

• Master of Laws (L.L.M) with at least 4-5 years relevant experience from an in-house role or a law-firm.
• Experience of providing legal advice for software technology and/or cyber security businesses
• Experience of working in an international business environment.
• Fluent in English and Finnish. Additional languages are an advantage
• The title and the exact responsibilities will be defined depending on the selected applicant's skills, background and experience

• Knowledge or skills in employment laws and processes
