Right now we are looking for an experienced technical Product/Pre-sales Specialist for Microsoft Azure and Azure security to join our team! My name is Babak Ayani and I am the leader of our Pre-sales and Partner management Team globally at Telia. We are responsible for the partner management, offerings and sales support of cloud SaaS, IaaS as well as security services that we sell to enterprises and the public sector in the Nordics and Baltics.

Is this your next opportunity?

This is a global role for someone who is interested in the intersection of business, sales and technology. You will be technically responsible for the Microsoft Azure business and will assist the sales teams to improve revenue by supporting in qualifying accounts, preparing and delivering solutions appropriate to our customer’s requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting customers in migrating existing Azure environments, setting up new Azure environments and supporting customer’s existing Cloud environments.

  • Supporting Account managers/sales teams regarding security for cloud/Azure in customer sales meetings/deals.

  • Focus on the technical aspects of Azure: What systems can be integrated in Azure, which databases can be automated, how large databases customers are able to place in azure, in which conditions and the best way to migrate them, is the customer’s network ready for the Azure platform, bandwidth, firewalls, security etc

  • Supporting Account managers/sales teams in larger Azure deals as a presale/technical specialist and handling any technical questions or issues which arise during a sales cycle

  • Internal training/education of sales managers, customer support agents etc​ regarding Azure and Azure security

Is this you?

We are looking for someone who has a deep interest for cloud, security and B2B sales. We believe that you are a tech savvy and curious person with a creative mind and that you enjoy working with and supporting our customers. You are driven and innovative and have an interest in following the technology market and industry trends within your area.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with software delivery projects with external customers. You should have expertise in Microsoft Azure, and ideally also security for Azure.

Your skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience as product specialist, technical product manager or pre-sales support for Microsoft Azure

  • Experience selling and implementing Azure/cloud-based security solutions e.g in a role as sales engineer big plus.

  • Experience from supervising and participating in deep technical meetings with customers and leading customer implementation projects

  • Academic degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent working experience

  • Azure certifications big plus

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both in writing and oral
