Oracle is investing in healthcare technologies at the grand scale. We have invested in Oxford Nanopore. We have recently closed an acquisition of  one of the largest EMR companies in the world\: Cerner Corporation.

Following on this the Oracle’s Healthcare Global Business Unit (HCGBU) seeks an EMEA Sales lead who will sell HCGBU solutions to Ministries of Health, relevant public sector organizations, Research Hospitals, Healthcare providers  and adjacent markets. This job is for a hunter! The Sales lead will have 10+ years of healthcare software sales in the Health IT or Digital Health space across the EMEA, specifically in the UK, Middle East, Northern and Central Europe. Experience in the interoperability domain, with cloud, enterprise applications and emerging technologies, familiarity standards such as FHIR as well as exposure to handling healthcare data is necessary. If you have to Google any of these acronyms\: IHE, EHR, HL7, CDA, ICD, HIE, VCF - this is not the right job for you.

Travel across the region essential\: candidate must live near a major airport and maintain a current passport.

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers\:

  • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the applications and related services, with the support of the pre-sales, product, and consulting teams.
  • Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of value propositions.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale, often in alignment with Oracle partners and other Lines of Business (Cloud, Technology, etc.)
  • Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

This role is for a leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. The ideal candidate will have\:

  • 10 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience.
  • Successful sales track record.
  • Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts.
  • Good knowledge of the intricacies of the different Healthcare systems and care delivery models in the EMEA countries.
  • Good knowledge of the Healthcare solution market (namely in the Interoperability and Analytics spaces) and the main players.
  • Ability to interact with C level stakeholders and speak the customer’s language.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills.
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers.
  • Availability to travel as required (up to 50%).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Besides English, knowledge of one or two other European languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, or German) or Arabic is important.
