We are looking for a Manager for Energy project taxation function in Wärtsilä Energy Business.

Location: Location for this position is in Finland.

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Carry out tax investigations in respect of new or potential Energy  project countries.
  • Advise and support the Energy Sales and Project organisations with respect to project taxation issues and how to consider those in commercial contracts.
  • Coordinate the establishment and registration of foreign entities within company guidelines and directives, whenever such establishment or registration is required.
  • Participate in providing internal training to the relevant stakeholders with respect to project taxation.
  • Participate in development of internal guidelines, documents, standards etc. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • MSc in Economics or equivalent.                                                                                                                                  
  • 2-5 years of experience from finance and taxation.
  • Knowledge about and/or experience of direct and indirect taxation as well as international taxation.
  • Interest and understanding to the legal framework, documents and practices applicable to international project business. 
  • Good command of English.                                                                                                                                                  
  • Good communication, cooperation, organizational and analytical skills.
