Specialist for Warranty Recovery (m/f/d) Electronics/Third Party

The primary focus as Specialist for Warranty Recovery is to Manage, develop, and lead Commercial Warranty Recovery initiatives and processes in a manner that is consistent with the achievement of Global Warranty Recovery targets and Global strategies for a designated group of suppliers for a defined commodity mix.
The incumbent will be part of a global commodity team for the designated commodity collaborating with the Global Warranty Recovery Manager and peer Commodity Specialists. Additionally this position will interface with Warranty Recovery Analysts who will perform the front end / supplier claims engagement functions of the Supplier Recovery process by establishing expectations, strategizing data analytics, routine supplier performance review and an escalation point for the analysts when supplier adjudication is compromised.
 

What You Will Do:
    •    Complete Commercial management, engagement and negotiation with designated suppliers within Global Commodity mix for reimbursement of supplier-attributable warranty and campaign expense for Electronics and Third Party
    •    Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on recovery activities
    •    Negotiate and maintain Global Supplier Warranty Agreements with suppliers for defined warranty expense coverage as a % expense
    •    Maintain the efficient flow of the warranty process, commercial relationship, and engagement between suppliers
    •    Active engagement with peer global commodities for strategy alignment and globalized warranty opportunities
    •    Consult with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Technical Services & Support, Warranty Management, and New Product Introduction to optimize supplier recovery, supplier relationships and product quality
 

What You Will Bring:
    •    Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or comparable degree with focus on Warranty Recovery
    •    Sound insights in Supply Chain Practices and / or Commercial Negotiations
    •    Technical understanding and interest with focus on Electronics
    •    Familiar in the usage of Office 365 tools and electronic business systems
    •    Very good English language skills.
 

A Plus If You Have:
    •    Experience in successfully interfacing within a large Global enterprise across multiple support sites and functions
    •    Strong analytical skills and experience in building business cases for strategic development
