We are now looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer, who is ready to be an essential part of Nortal’s growth in the data area. Our cross-functional Data team supports the Nortal Group's global growth – we believe in data-driven decisions and our solutions are having direct impacts on business scalability and visibility.  

As DWH engineer your main role will be:

  • Company internal data warehouse development 
  • Solution design and architecture proposals 
  • Programming data loading flows and integrations 
  • Consult, research, complex solutions analysis, PoC  

    • The skills we are seeking:

  • Logical thinking and a strong interest in working with data  
  • Advanced level SQL, 3+ years’ experience 
  • 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing domain 
  • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures 
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment 
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn 
  • Agility and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Open-mindedness and excellent teamwork skills 
  • Fluent in English  

    • It’s great if you have:

  • Kettle Pentaho experience 
  • Advanced level Java, JavaScript 
  • Relevant university degree like MSc in Computer Science, Information Management or similar 
  • Experience in building and designing real time and asynchronous systems 
  • Understand cloud computing principles and data services available in different cloud platforms (Azure)
