You will be the Product Owner in one of Product Development’s Scrum teams working with the Procountor product family (Procountor Mini, Procountor Solo, Procountor Financials and Procountor Ledger). You will manage the team’s backlog by defining user stories, prioritizing them, and refining them together with the team. You will also participate in product roadmap planning. Each time your team’s development effort is being released, you will prepare the internal communication and documentation and organize demos.

Your main responsibilities include driving the development of new features and improvements that are implemented by your team, taking into consideration scheduling and budget. You are responsible of having the big picture for the team’s development projects, stakeholder communication and co-operation with other development teams.

Most of your team is located at our headquarters in Espoo, but are other locations are in Turku, Tampere, Oulu and Jyväskylä. We work with a flexible hybrid model. 

• A background in Software Development (e.g. Software Developer or Architect)
• Knowledge of software architectures, integrations, and APIs
• Previous experience of commercial software product development
• A solid knowledge of agile methodologies and processes (Scrum, Kanban etc.) and have experience as a Scrum Product Owner, Product Manager, or another relevant role
• Proven track record of organizing, prioritizing, time management and driving results
• Fluent skills in English

You have excellent communication skills required to translate business needs into technical terms and to communicate with stakeholders. You also have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence decision making across a wide variety of roles and levels in the organization.

• Our key technologies include Azure, MySQL, JUnit, Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes, Zalenium/Selenium grid, Ansible and Git.
• Our core codebase is mostly written in Java, in Machine Learning team we use Python.
• We use the open-source Vaadin framework for providing a beautiful front-end to the end user.
• Jira and Confluence are used for Backlog management and documentation.
