Wärtsilä Information Management (IM) is an organization of 350+ innovative and enthusiastic IT professionals. IM helps Wärtsilä businesses in accelerating digital growth and business productivity. We are looking for energetic and ambitious Scrum Master to shape the future of our IT environment. In the Scrum Master role, you will set-up and lead scrum teams developing digital solutions and coach your team with agile ways of working. The first assignment will be a scrum team developing financial data and analytics solutions. Location for this position is Helsinki or Vaasa (Finland), and position is offered on permanent basis. Hybrid office and remote working is possible in this position. 

Your role and responsibilities 

• Help Financial Data and Analytics Competency Center’s developers and Product Owner as a Scrum Master in our leap into a functioning agile organization and help the team to succeed and maximize the business value. Later you will transition to support also other teams in their transformation into agile organizations.
• Implement agile/scrum ways of working and coach the team with the ins and outs of agile methodologies.

Requirements for the position 

• M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration or Information Technology
•  3+ years Scrum Master experience and proven track record in an IT organization operating in global environment
• Scrum Master certificate 
• Wide experience in agile ways of working and ability to act as an agile coach  
• Excellent facilitation, collaboration and teambuilding skills
• Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passionate, proactive and goal-focused attitude to work
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Understanding & experience of financial data and analytics solutions and business intelligence development with Qlik and Power BI is a plus
