My name is Ulrika Frid and I’m leading a Product Management team in the Pay TV organization with team members both in Sweden, Finland and soon Norway.  Together with the Telia Company Consumer Business segment we lead the product lifecycle, product development and solution management of the TV and Media offerings including both our own TV offerings and partner offerings such as HBO Max. Our team is enthusiastic about developing new TV/Media services and offerings for our customers, excelling in customer experience and we are now looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Finland.

In the role as TV Product Manager for Finland you will be part of the team working with offerings and solutions for Telia’s TV and Streaming Services. This for instance means:

• Have a key role in implementing the realization and lifecycle management of the TV/Media services in Finland in close co-operation with the business units, IT, and customer operations – both in current Classic system and transitioning to Target system
• Be responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable and sustainable offerings that meet our customer’s needs
• Establish a solid collaboration with our colleagues in Telia Finland to ensure time to market, go to market and continuous improvement of the TV Services
• Be part of a global cross-border team of product area experts and work with skilled professionals
• Ensure Telia’s TV Products meet the customer requirements and stay competitive in the fast-developing technology landscape
• Coordinate IT development of technical features with all relevant stakeholders and ensure end-to-end quality
• Act as a leader in the product domain across the organization

Your employment will be at Common Products and Services, part of Telia Company Group, and you will work with both Telia Company and local Telia Finland systems.

Your Experience:

Our ideal candidate has a master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (such as communications engineering, network technologies, ICT, computer science, etc.), has fact-based mindset and good communication skills. In this position fluent English is required and fluent Finnish is highly appreciated. First and foremost, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person that sets the customer in focus.

• Experience from either product development, product management or processes – especially from TV domain or value-added services.
• Knowledge of the broadband & TV product family and the main technical and business drivers/obstacles of your products
• Knowledge of the main processes and Telia IT systems
• Knowledge from the different development methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps, Projects etc. and their adaptations in Telia Finland
• Experience from customer-centric organizations, design-lead processes and data-driven decisions is a plus.
