Senior Data Warehouse Engineer/Tech Lead 
 
Our cross-functional Data team supports the Nortal Group's global growth – we believe in data-driven decisions and our solutions are having direct impacts on business scalability and visibility.  Your main stakeholders will be the management board and support functions. 

As Senior DWH Engineer and Tech Lead your main role will be:

  • Scrutinize the company's present data infrastructure, identify gaps, and develop plans to integrate the current systems with the desired future model​
  • Initiate and lead the creation of warehousing longer vision and architecture 
  • Daily basis hands-on in engineering
  • Develop and maintain database scripts and tools to make the automation process run smoother​ 
  • Design different ETL processes and conduct tests on the data​. Conduct troubleshooting on all ETL processes and effectively resolve any issues​ 

    • What you need to succeed:

  • Logical thinking and a strong interest in working with data 
  • Advanced level SQL, 3+ years’ experience 
  • 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing domain
  •  Experience in cloud computing principles and data services available in different cloud platforms (Azure) 
  • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures and knowledge of data integration concepts 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment 
  • Capability to organize teamwork for engineers 
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Agility and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Open-mindedness and excellent teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English

    • It’s great if you have:

  • Kettle Pentaho experience
  • Experienced in Java, JavaScript 
  • Experience in building and designing real-time and asynchronous systems 
  • Relevant university degree like MSc in Computer Science, Information Management or similar 
  • Good humor
