We are looking for a Quality and Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. We create the industry's most trusted and widely used benchmarks for desktop computers, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, and VR systems.

You do not need to be a qualified tester. If you constantly follow the latest news in peak computing performance, enjoy tinkering with pc hardware, or have overclocked your computer to optimize its performance, we would love to talk to you.

You will be working with a team of passionate and highly skilled engineers that take pride in developing high-quality software. You will be guided by the team on your path to becoming an independent QA professional.



What you’ll do

  • Test our benchmarks in our test lab
  • Report the results to Software Engineers
  • Maintain and update test automation


Your skills and experience

This position is available at both junior and senior level. More than experience with QA, we are looking for a person who has the passion for computer hardware and understanding it. We are good at recognizing talent in those who are starting their career.

Required

  • You know how to build a PC from parts and understand how different components effect performance across a range of workloads
  • You can implement some basic level scripting to create automated tests
  • You understand Windows environments, and understand or are keen to learn Mac, Linux, and Android
  • You can travel to our office in Espoo, Finland at start on daily bases, in the future, some of the work can be done remotely
  • Good written and spoken English

Education

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field is a plus, but not a requirement

Bonus points

  • Previous experience in Quality and Assurance
  • An understanding of Mac, Linux and/or Android environments
  • Knowledge on how to administrate Windows environments
  • Experience in PowerShell, Python, and/or C#
  • Experience using our benchmarks
