We are looking for a Expert, Thermofluids & Simulations with a main responsibility in new decarbonized fuels and heat management simulations. The preferred location for this position is in Vaasa, Finland but Turku, Finland and Trieste, Italy are also possible.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a CFD and combustion expert your work will include developing new engine concepts of our decarbonized future. The specific tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests but typically include physics model developments and software integration while running complex engine simulations. You will be working in the very international Thermofluids & Simulations team with a focus on OpenFOAM simulations.
Requirements for the position:
- Proficiency in OpenFOAM software and numerics
- Good knowledge of combustion physics and modelling
- Good knowledge in Conjugate Heat Transfer and modelling
As an ideal candidate you might also have:
- Experience in CAD and meshing
- Software development and C++ experience
- Good communication skills and an appetence to share your knowledge
