Employee Security Lead

My name is Mari Hedenstam and I’m leading a team of Specialists on the People Operations. We’re looking for a person with wide knowledge of employee security and ambition to navigate a trusted brand in the landscape of the future. Is that you?

Key responsibilities

The role Employee Security Lead is broad with a range of different tasks calling on your experience, skills and wisdom drawn from years of similar work. You will have an important role in the team and will work proactively by leading your own initiatives and supporting whole People organization on the employee security area. It is therefore important that you are comfortable in a constantly evolving environment.

The work duties consist of but are not limited to:

• Develop, implement and maintain Telia Company common insider protection program according to NIST/ISO27002 and NIS2 framework.
• Develop and implement comprehensive personnel security policies and procedures.
• Ownership of the vetting process
• Provide subject matter expertise on personnel security with a focus on recruitment and joiners/movers/leavers processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant government security requirements and legislations from all Telia countries
• Ensure compliance to the GDPR regulations
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders on the countries and Group Security
• Champion a positive and proactive security culture within People organization

Who we are looking for

You have solid experience in personnel security and a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly the National Security Act and compliance with protective agreements. With expertise in vetting process management, labor law across multiple countries, and special investigations, you bring valuable process development skills. Your high integrity, end-to-end process development experience, and strong self-leadership enable you to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
