We are looking for a Senior Backend Programmer to join the core game development team where this person will play an important role in our small, fast-moving team building scalable, green-field, backend services in support of massively multiplayer game.

Responsibilities

• Developing scalable backend architecture for a F2P PC title including services like authentication, matchmaking and player data management

• Helping develop the server side of gameplay features, e.g. game, level & enemy configuration and server authoritative gameplay

• Working together with artists, designers and animators

Requirements

• Experience working with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

• Has worked in a similar role on mobile or PC titles with large userbases

• Self-motivated and proactive with a dedication to improving your craft

The ideal candidate will also have

• worked on multiplayer games

• worked with Unreal Engine 4
