Senior Cloud Data Engineer - Expert with Superpowers

Building systems for ingestion, transformation and storage of vast amounts of data requires special expertise, which is why we are looking for a coding Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our growing Data Driven Business team. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, architecting and implementing modern cloud-based pipelines for our customers, making data accessible and usable for a new wave of data-powered apps and services.

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience and minimum 1 year hands-on experience in building modern data platforms / pipelines on public cloud platforms and services.

Here are some example skills that'll be sure to impress us:

- Programming experience in at least one of: over 3 years experience in Python, Java, C# or Scala

- Cloud platforms: over 1 year experience in AWS or Azure and their data services

- Data pipelining: ETL, ELT

- Frameworks: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Kafka

- Search engines: Elasticsearch, Solr

- Databases: NoSQL, Relational databases (OLTP & OLAP)

Interest in or experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence or IoT is a plus.

As we have varying opportunities to work internationally, we expect possibility to travel up to 25% in Finland and other locations in Europe.

A valid working permit in EU is required.
