Master’s thesis position in semiconductor and nanomaterial modelling

A Master’s thesis position in semiconductor modelling and technology is available at The Engineered Nano-Systems group, NBE (School of Science) at Aalto University.

Our research focuses on developing semiconductor and nano-material based energy conversion and storage technologies and devices, harnessing optoelectronics to demonstrate new optical cooling solutions, light-emitting devices, photodetectors, electrochemical storage solutions and more.

Your role and goals

We are looking for a Master’s student to work with us on the electrical, optical, thermal and chemical modelling and characterization of semiconductors and related materials, needed for the design of a new generation of energy storage systems.

Your experience and ambitions
