We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join our team developing first class radiation therapy treatment planning system, located in our Helsinki office. As a member of cross-functional software development team, you will participate in product development activities from feature inception to production focusing on verification activities. You have a holistic attitude to quality and always want to deliver the best product possible. You are a champion of the users and take the user experience as seriously is technical excellence.
 
Major responsibilities:
 

• You will be responsible for software verification activities together with your peers
• Test planning, test design, execution, and reporting are a major part of your daily work
• You will support requirement definition, design and risk analysis
• You will Install and maintain test environments
• You are further developing verification practices

Experience and skills:
 

• Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, physics, computer science or similar
• Experience in software testing of complex systems
• Basic understanding of installing and troubleshooting software systems on the Windows platform
• Good command of spoken and written English

• Experience in the field of medical technology
• Knowledge of radiotherapy
• Basic anatomical knowledge
• Understanding of virtual environments such as Citrix or VMWare
