Job Description

Accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of automation test strategies. Develops and maintains test automation solution used for automated product testing. Manages own assignments and schedule according to agile principles receiving technical guidance from automation architect. Operates under moderate supervision.

What will you do:

Primary:

• Develop and enhance the Automated Software Testing environment, frameworks, test scripts, simulators and software tools.
• Requires thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area of accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of automation test strategies
• Develop and enhance the Automated Software Testing environment, frameworks, test scripts, simulators and software tools.
• Responsible for performing necessary testing of software to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, and implementation of automated test solution.
• Interact with the product delivery team in Agile manner
• Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
• Improve maintainability of current test asset.

Secondary:

• Performs code reviews for the test automation solution related asset
• Managing and tracking bugs/anomalies and verifying bug fixes related to test solution.
• Improving working methods.
• Travel as necessary
• Other responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology or electrical engineering
• 3 years of experience in Automation design and/or implementation
• 2 year of practical experience using / configuring continuous integration solution and processes
• 3 years of experience in Automation w/ direct scripting and coding
• Experience with at least Selenium, Appium and Robot Frame Work and happy to use Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Proven practical and theory knowledge of Software testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
