Studio IT Site Administrator
It is an exciting time to be at Epic. We are looking for a Studio IT Site Administrator to join our Helsinki studio to work with our team to create cutting-edge solutions. This individual will be critical to the Studio’s success as we expand the infrastructure backing the site and supporting a team of world-class developers. Our Studio Support team is a collection of talented and uniquely qualified individuals operating as one team. The Studio Support team operates at the summit of end user support among all Gaming and Media industry IT organizations. Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment associated with various teams throughout Epic
Administering Mac and Windows desktop environments including configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
Frontline maintenance and troubleshooting of all physical equipment including workstations, professional and consumer grade AV equipment, monitors, video teleconference systems, AV control systems, etc.
Participating in the infrastructural decisions for building and maintaining scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant systems in support of your site
Liaising with IT engineers to maximize system performance and reliability
Organizing and working with Epic stakeholders to test, prepare, and maintain technology for shows, conventions, demos, and events
Qualifications:
IT systems generalist with senior level experience in configuration management, deployment, automation, applications, and security
Advanced understanding of and experience with Linux, OS X and Windows operating systems
Experience with endpoint management tools, such as Kace, Ansible, SCCM, or Jamf
Understanding of best practices and administration of Active Directory, OKTA, Google GSuite, JIRA/Confluence, or Perforce
Hands on experience with infrastructure technologies and appliances (Nutanix, VMware, Cisco Switches, and Firewalls, etc.)
Experience writing code to create automated solutions (Bash, Ruby, Python, Javascript, Powershell)
Understanding of protocols such as TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, SSH, LDAP
Proficient in using and supporting Source Control tools (Perforce and Git preferred)
