ICEYE is building the world’s largest constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites. The satellites can take images at any time of day – even when it’s cloudy or dark – and those images will let our customers understand the world better and make more intelligent decisions. We launched the world’s first SAR microsatellite in January 2018 and raised over $65M in financing to date.

SAR Product manager is responsible for the design and implementation of ICEYE’s SAR data products. The product manager will work with sales and customers to gather requirements and create a product road-map that aligns to our customer and business needs. They will work closely with product software, satellite and radar engineers to understand our SAR technology to ensure ICEYE provides maximum product and service value. The Product Manager will also provide oversight in the implementation of all necessary algorithms and software support operations of a fleet of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites. Collaborate with engineering management on planning the necessary personnel resources and timelines for ICEYE’s Product Roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the science behind ICEYE’s proprietary SAR processor
  • Clarify the complexity of SAR technology, Products and Services in meaningful terms to clients
  • Review and oversee SAR imaging modes
  • Define SAR data products and implementation of processing algorithms to achieve them
  • Define requirements for the spacecraft engineering team to achieve the designed SAR performance
  • Research innovative SAR solutions and their implementation
  • Calibrate and validate SAR instrument performance and data product specifications

Requirements

  • Solid SAR data products and RADAR technology knowledge
  • Proven previous experience with designing GIS/analytical products and solutions for customer use cases
  • Strong client-facing interpersonal skills, including a good temperament
  • Excellent knowledge of English (both written and oral)
  • Efficient in Microsoft/Google software, databases, tools and customer success best practices
  • General experience with digital signal processing and engineering physics
  • Engineering or science degree ideally paired with a research background
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of all aspects of job and take initiative
