We are now looking for a Senior Analyst to join Sourcing Operations organization. You are responsible for developing analytics capabilities and supporting business specific sourcing management with actionable insights.

Sourcing Operations is responsible for managing, operating and improving Source to Pay processes and solutions. We deliver end-to-end insights and dedicated services for UPM businesses and functions, and are focused on continuously improving process efficiency, quality and compliance.

What you’ll do

  • Support UPM Raflatac business related Sourcing & Procurement teams by providing forward-looking insights, identifying sourcing opportunities and risks
  • Analyse supply market trends and supplier portfolio changes, their financial impact on the business performance
  • Develop key performance metrics, analysis and reporting tools for input cost, working capital and supplier performance management
  • Manage input price forecasting, scenario planning and monthly reporting processes, including cost improvement actions follow-up
  • Collaborate with sourcing category leaders on category strategy creation and implementation
  • Develop business intelligence systems and analytical capabilities together with analytics & business control teams
  • Manage end-to-end processes related continuous improvement identification, action planning and deployment together with business process teams
  • Ensure that data and analysis is accurate, trusted and assured
  • Support other sourcing activities as requested

Who you are

  • You have a university degree in Business or Technology 
  • You have 3-7 years of work experience from analytics, business intelligence or business controlling, experience from sourcing or commodity markets is an advantage
  • You have experience working with statistical models, business intelligence systems and databases i.e. Power BI, Tableau, databases, Python, R
  • You have an ability to turn data into actions and to business decisions, and make data visually compelling
  • You are a proactive and adaptive person, you have passion for analytics and data-driven decision-making culture
  • You are fluent in English
