We are now looking for a Business Innovation Manager to play a pivotal role in a team working in the exciting and ever-changing payments area, and to use your experience and acquired knowledge to lead new ideas and development for Cards and Transaction Banking.

About this opportunity

• Be up to date on news, trends and competitors across the payments industry and convert this knowledge into insights to support the identification of new products and services, and the positioning of Nordea Cards and payments in the Nordics
• Propose market driven product change, development activities, new business opportunities and products/services that would lead to new income streams, and commercial possibilities
• Collect and analyse information, and market intelligence from various internal and external sources (Nordea stakeholders, external partners and third parties) to identify opportunities
• Ensure a competitive product offering in all our markets through Nordea developed and partnership developed products and services
• Support the strategy and roadmap for product, market and concept direction - secure a helicopter view on what to focus on

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Have excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
• Have excellent interpersonal skills i.e. you can quickly connect with people and maintain long-standing relations with internal/external stakeholders, partners and your network
• Are fluent in spoken & written English and Finnish

• You have a master’s degree in finance, engineering, IT or similar
• You have solid experience in payments, fintech, financial services, telecom etc. with the ability to pick up on market trends
• You can interpret complex information and market intelligence into potential opportunities for Nordea Cards
• You can identify and discuss commercial opportunities with third parties/partners
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are result oriented. Furthermore, you have an ability to think out of the box and come up with new ideas
