RELEX is a fast growing software company developing its own products that help retail companies plan and operate more efficiently. By accurately forecasting consumption of goods, we reduce inventory costs, increase availability and cut waste. To achieve this we use our in-house built terabyte scale in-memory database, which stores tens of billions of rows of data. 

To deliver this solution with the best possible results, we are looking for an experienced Release Manager to lead our Release Management team. In this position you will focus on improving our existing practices, CI/CD systems and other tooling to bring us to the next level in Release Management, Planning and Delivery. 

We’re looking for applicants who have experience in designing and implementing release planning and management practices, together with versioning models and QA practices for complex software releases. In this position, you will work with many different Engineering and Product teams, coordinating work and ensuring successful releases. Practical knowledge from CI and build systems is a requirement.

The ideal applicant has

• Strong hands-on experience from release planning, engineering processes and practices and different delivery models
• Practical, hands-on experience from software delivery
• Strong communication skills
• Experience from Project / Program Management
• Strong familiarity with versioning tools (Git)
• Has experience in build tools and CI systems (e.g GitLab)
• Has a strong interest in software development as a process

Additionally, we value

• Strong familiarity with Linux
• Software developer background with languages such as Java, Go and Python
