Would you like to be part of the roll-out and operationalisation of data governance and improve data quality, where only trusted data is used for decision-making and empowering business opportunities in the digital space? We are now looking for a team member to engage in the roll-out of data governance in the Group Functions area to ensure that Nordea Group data policies and frameworks are implemented, drive data quality improvements and support the work in the data councils, data owners and projects.

About this opportunity

  • Engaging in the data governance roll-out work where RDARR and TRIM IRB related data assets and critical data elements are taken under governance
  • Developing and enforcing data policies, principles and standards, including data quality in daily production and in development activities
  • Engaging in and driving towards common data models and common data definitions, as well as identifying data owners and implementing data ownership within GF
  • Engaging in defining GF specific data definitions and how the data may be used and engaging with GF business units and change initiatives, to ensure efficient and aligned usage of information and data
  • Identifying and overseeing implementation of initiatives to continuously improve data quality and supporting data owners and projects in implementing the data governance framework
  • Participating in understanding new regulatory requirements and translating them into what it means for Nordea. Supporting and engaging in achieving the overall Data Strategy for Nordea

  • Experience in data governance or related field within the financial services industry and ability to translate that experience to assess current and future information and data requirements, as well as experience in similar roles previously and experience within the areas of Group Functions, such as Risk, Finance, Regulatory etc.
  • Strong analytical competences
  • Enjoy coaching and inspiring others
  • If you have experience in information modelling, enterprise architecture layers (business, information, IT solutions) or legal requirements assessment and implementation it will be considered as an asset
