Hello, there! We are Nightingale, a biotech company on a mission to solve the global chronic disease crisis using data, science and technology. We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join us in this endeavour. You’ll be part of our team in Helsinki and help us develop our web-based laboratory management system and data analysis software.

Here’s what you'll do:

At Nightingale, we combine health and science with cutting-edge lab technology and the latest software. As part of our agile software development team, you'll work on all parts of the technology stack and get to work with modern microservice and container technologies. You'll take part in making important technology decisions and improving our ways of working. You'll get to innovate on new products and services based on our analysis platform. You also have the chance to dive deeper into biotech in a fast-growing health industry.

Technologies you'll work with:

Frontend: React, Material-UI, Electron, TypeScript
Backend: Meteor, Node.js, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, Docker

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a person with at least a couple of years of hands-on full stack development experience. You’re eager to learn new things and always strive to become an even better software professional. You have a pragmatic and proactive attitude and you’re all about producing good, testable and high-performant code. You thrive in a diverse environment where teams work towards a common goal.

We also value if you have:

• Experience with Meteor.js, Node.js, React.js, Material-UI, MongoDB, Apache Kafka
• Familiarity with npm, gulp, Git, Docker
• Experience building services using Amazon cloud services
• Practice implementing CI systems and automated testing.
