Construction management is an important part when implementing Outotec’s plant deliveries. In Espoo we design and deliver modern mineral processing and metals refining plants to customers all around the world. Construction management ensures our deliveries are constructed according to the requirements, bringing our delivery to the end, to the Client satisfaction.

We are looking for a Construction Engineer to work within Outotec’s global construction management team. You will be given an exiting opportunity to work in an international setup, travel to various EPC/EPS construction sites globally, and path to develop your constructions competence inside our experienced, multinational construction teams.

Your home base will be in Espoo, Finland.

• Lead/ advise on / coordinate Subcontractors / clients construction activities within a mechanical installation discipline
• Coordinate interfaces within the plant delivery project other areas, disciplines, contactors or battery limits
• Be responsible for construction works of own discipline/area so that financial, time schedule and quality objectives, and also customer satisfaction, are achieved
• Be responsible for safe construction works without accidents
• Coordinate incoming materials and erection documentation in due time
• Review subcontractor`s / client`s working procedures & ITPs
• Organize subcontractor/ clients quality / turn-over- documentation for the discipline
• Provide technical and organizational written records to Site Management / Claims Management
• Provide monthly updates of progress / forecast of completion dates to the site management / scheduler

• Preferably Bachelor (B.Sc.) or Master (M.Sc.) degree in Construction/Mechanical engineering or similar
• At least 3 years experience in construction
• Deep execution skills related to at least one discipline of construction works
• Deep skills in safe working methods
• Skills in quality requirements of industrial plants
• Understanding of Controls Tools for Cost and Schedule
• Strong team working skills
• Good written and spoken English, Finnish is an advantage
• General understanding of project deliveries (equipment technical purchasing, manufacturing expediting/inspection and forwarding), is a benefit
• Willingness for frequent long-term assignments to foreign countries
