About the role

As our operations are growing we are looking for a DevOps engineer to MSS infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll be utilizing and developing a modern technology stack to improve our core infrastructure platforms and security monitoring capabilities consisting of various top-notch cybersecurity products.

You will be part of an experienced operations team, which provides you the necessary support and capabilities to further develop your professional skills in the field of DevOps. Primary responsibilities include maintenance and support of platform services in a modern automated environment. As we use many technologies and constantly develop our operations, you have the possibility to take part in creation of comprehensive cybersecurity monitoring solution to change the world for better. In this role you can also take part in digitalizing our offering and supporting Nixu’s strategic goals.

Ideally you have already some work or serious hobby experience from system administration and deployment automation. This is a role where you can further develop yourself and learn new skills as you go. Your role will be based on your experience level and your own ambitions.

Do you have what it takes to be the next Nixuan?

To be successful in this role you should have either experience or passion to develop your skills in the following areas:
- DevOps workflows
- IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- AWS and other cloud platforms
- Configuration Management (Salt)
- Docker & Kubernetes transitions
- Zabbix + Grafana + Prometheus
- GitLab CI/CD
- HashiCorp stack (Terraform, Vault etc.)
- scripting languages, especially Python. Bash, JavaScript or PowerShell experience counts as a plus.

Must have:
- Curious mind and willingness to learn new things
- Experience of managing production environments based on Linux systems (Debian, RHEL)
- Ambition to automate and continuously improve all things around us
- Ability to document requirements, specifications and implemented solutions

The position is permanent and full-time, You will be based in Espoo, Finland but have the option to work remotely.
