Accountor Finago is the manufacturer of the leading financial management software products in Finland and a part of Accountor Group’s SME software business. The software products are used by over 2,500 accounting offices and we serve over 120,000 companies in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Our product development team consists of over 100 people – it's a family of developers, testers, UX designers and domain experts, all working tightly together for a common goal. You will be working with the designing and testing of the changes made on Procountor. As we utilize test automation in our work, your role will also include coding and scripting. You will also work with manually testing our software.

Our core codebase is mostly written in Java, and we use the open-source Vaadin framework for providing a beautiful front-end to the end-user. For UI test automation, we are using Selenium and JBehave Framework. Other key technologies include MySQL, JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Zalenium, Ansible and Git. We embrace Scrum as our development process and use a wide array of tools to facilitate that process, including Jira, Slack, Confluence and Bitbucket. We realize that a process is never perfect and always strive to make improvements wherever possible.

Keys to success

A good candidate has a background in software testing and is always yearning to learn more. They also communicate fluently with Finnish and/or English both orally and in writing

We also value one or more of these aspects
 

• experience in software testing without UI
• familiarity with relational databases, SQL and web-based software

• background in test automation (e.g. experience in configuration management and log monitoring)
• prior knowledge of tools/technologies that we are currently utilizing and/or Scrum methodologies.
