We are looking for a seasoned backend developer!

In this role, you will be a part of the core PrivX development team sharing your expertise and best practices with the team and participating in the creation of the best technical solutions for the product. We have a microservice-based backend running on RHEL, Docker, and Kubernetes, the backend is mainly written in Go. Ideally, you would already be familiar with Go and if not, you should be able and willing to learn it. We operate in IT security field so knowledge on IT security is expected.

PrivX is a next-generation, cost-efficient access management solution or on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures as well as operational technology use cases and has been under development for 4 years with customers now all over the world. Responsibilities:

• Write maintainable backend code for the PrivX product
• Code reviews for code written by others
• Provide technical help on customer cases
• Provide help for junior team members
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices

We expect:

• Backend programming experience
• Knowledge of IT security
• Experience in Linux and containers
• Knowledge of software architecture
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Able to give and receive feedback
• Great communication skills in English

Remote work in Finland outside the greater Helsinki area is possible, however, you should be prepared to visit the office from time to time to see the team at mutually agreed times.
