We are looking for a Chief Engineer, PF-DS and RT-GT filters in Filter business line to be located preferably in Lappeenranta, Finland

• Lead mechanical engineering for PF-DS and RT-GT filter product families
• Provide support for other functions (e.g. services, sales projects)
• Follow-up of product costs
• Co-operate closely with Product Manager and other stakeholders
• Provide support for product supply and supply strategy
• Provide and support technical trainings
• Have IPR development focus
• Provide technical support for project implementation and services

• Strong drive for new technology and innovations
• Suitable technical education, e.g. Master’s / Bachelor’s degree or similar
• Experience in engineering tools: 2D, 3D, FEM, EDM & PDM
• Minimum work experience of 5 years, preferably in minerals processing or other process industry
• Technical report writing ability and presentation skills
• Excellent co-operation skills with internal and external customers
• Ability to lead a team, to establish priorities and manage competing deadlines for self and others
• Fluent spoken and written communication skills in Finnish and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and manufacturing workshops
• Experience of hydraulic system is considered as an advantage
