We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team at ABB Oy, Motion Service division in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. This role belongs to Local Management Unit Drives Service and reports to Manager, Technical Product Management.We offer you the opportunity to build up your professional network and develop your technical expertise. As Product Manager, you hold a role as a global key player in Drives after sales business. You define, develop, and optimize – in cooperation with other stakeholders – the service offering throughout the products’ life cycle, enabling incremental growth. In this dynamic position you will have the opportunity to develop both your technical expertise as well as your soft skills. You will have the opportunity follow the whole value chain from suppliers to end customers. You will have further career prospects in after-sales.

Your responsibilities

Enabling incremental growth by defining, developing, and optimizing the service offering based on business analytics throughout the products’ life cycle. i.e. monitoring business performance of services and products in the portfolio. Developing the business analytics, methods, presentation, and processes. Acquiring market intelligence from business relevant stakeholders to understand future trends. Identifying gaps, overlaps, new opportunities, and change needs in the service offering. Making risk and feasibility studies for service offering development, ensuring a common understanding among stakeholders on business development.

Your background

M.Sc. or B.Sc. in economics or in electrical/power engineering. Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written. Finnish is an advantage but not required. Ideally, you have several years’ experience of drives or drives service business. Knowledge of various industrial applications and automation systems is appreciated, as well as experience with LV drives. You are expected to be business oriented as well as having good people skills, result oriented and not afraid of decision making. You are comfortable working with multiple tasks in parallel.
