The global Grinding Delivery team in MP is now looking for an E&I Engineer to be seated in Espoo. You will enter into a great team who’s working hard to support our customers, while keeping our product industry leading and the best fit for purpose.
As E&I Engineer, Grinding Delivery, you will:- Be responsible for planning and executing the E, I & C engineering and commissioning activities on Outotec grinding delivery projects.
- Compile E&I designs using EPLAN software, ensuring that design specifications as well as customer specifications are met.
- Assist in ensuring that the solution Outotec provides stays industry leading and is the best fit for purpose for all Outotec’s clients.
- Provide E, I & C application support in the project department by liaising with both suppliers and clients on all E&I aspects of the projects.
- Be responsible of equipment selection and the selection of devices to match Outotec and/or client requirements.
- Assist in preparation and evaluation of tenders and in pre-contract negotiations.
- Check and approve contractor designs and drawings.
- Prepare and maintain outline design guidelines (manuals / SOPs) and supervise design drafting resources producing intelligent C&IDs (Control & Instrumentation Diagrams) and all subsequent electrical- and instrumentation deliverables.
- Inspect manufacturing of equipment – perform FAT testing.
- Revelant Electrical/Automation Engineering Qualification (degree or diploma).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical engineering.
- Some experience in heavy equipment E, I & C engineering and commissioning.
- Knowledge in programming, for instance Siemens TIA Portal, as well as middle voltage knowledge is an advantage
- Skills to lead and coordinate between internal project resources, customer and suppliers
- Good spoken and written English. Finnish, German and other major language skills will be an advantage.
- Ability to travel to supplier-, customer meetings and commissioning activities which can last up to 4-6 weeks.
