The Applications Sales Enablement Specialist will be responsible for enabling Oracle SaaS Sales and supporting Sales functions become more effective and is a key member of Oracle EMEA/JAPAC Sales Factory.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will excel in three areas\:

The candidate possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a proven record of creating written collateral, training materials/interactive sessions, and has demonstrated the ability to deliver effective and concise training. The candidate has direct experience and knowledge and understands the enablement needs of Sales Representatives and Sales Leaders. 

 

Responsibilities of the Applications Sales Enablement Specialist include\:

Drive training through programmatic initiatives such as workshops, guided learning paths, and hands on interactive sessions. Design soft skills training courses, create materials, write assessment tests and deliver workshops. Deliver and support design for Manager Training programs.  Sales Management Coaching and is also a part of this role. 

 

Proactively work with Sales Factory team members, Oracle Product Marketing, Oracle Sales & Sales Consulting and other functional teams to help drive future training direction that meets Oracle’s needs. Participate in regional enablement events as needed.

 
Job Description

The Applications Sales Enablement Specialist will be responsible for delivery of enablement programs to the SaaS Applications team in EMEA.  The primary focus of this role is delivering Sales Management Training, Sales Management Coaching and supporting the development and productivity of Sales teams.   In addition to the delivery of these programs this will include conducting needs assessments to identify strategically aligned learning and development initiatives, designing and developing training courseware in a variety of delivery modes (e.g., instructor led training, self-paced training, virtual, blended), collaborate in content creation, as well as providing input on measures regarding business impact and effectiveness of deployed learning solutions.

Responsibilities include\: 

Courseware delivery, design, development and deployment strategy for world class blended learning programs that are experiential, drive behavioural change and increase performance within our global Sales business units.

Develop learning curricula that align with learning and performance strategies.

Build and maintain valued relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Develop assessment approaches that conform to global accreditation strategies and processes.

Evaluate the business impact of learning programs through use of learning and performance metrics.

This role is a leading contributor individually and as a team member. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialisation.

 
 

Qualifications and Job Requirements

 

Background as a Sales Leader (Manager, Director or VP) is mandatory 5-10 years experience.

A passion for training and enablement.

Ability to build strong relationships and navigate through senior stakeholder discussions

Experience in analysing business needs and selling value to customers.

Experience designing and developing learning programs across delivery mediums.

Proficient in establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements (ROI & Benchmarking).

Experience delivering facilitation, training, coaching and/or development of learning programs.

Excellent communication, facilitation and persuasive skills, both written and verbal. .

Experience leveraging standard eLearning tools and web-based meeting tools.

Previous project/program management experience is an asset.

Coaching experience is an asset.

Experience in delivering and supporting training at enterprise software companies is required.

Knowledge of Oracle Applications and Technology is an asset.

Team player.
Leadership skills.

Self-starter with high energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.

Fluency in English, & German working knowledge of other languages is an asset.

 

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.

Business travel of approximately 50-75% percent annually may be expected of this position (primarily Western Europe).
