To accelerate the largest cloud solution adoption across EMEA we seek applications for an elite team of Cloud Enterprise Architects to lead the team, engage stakeholders and delight customers across Austria, Benelux, Germany, Nordics and Switzerland.

This team of Oracle Cloud Enterprise Architects is an intrinsic part of the Sales and Customer Success team. They have a single focus on positioning Oracle’s Solutions at the heart of the largest Transformation projects. They bridge the gap between business and technology –speaking the value language of business and technology Clevel individuals. They combine a deep understanding of cloud technology, SAAS applications, architecture best practices, business processes and architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives that meet the business objectives of our customers.

Applicants should be Chief Architects, CTOs or equivalent, with a very significant successful history of being instrumental in true, real-world businesses transformation and IT transformation with Cloud. This history should include moving to a standardized, consolidated and more agile IT estate, business application modernization and rationalization, SAAS adoption, integration and digital transformation.

They should be a respected and well-known authority on the subject of Cloud adoption and have an extensive network of senior IT and business contacts across a wide geographic range and have a demonstrable history of successfully building and leading this type of team – coupled with extensive stakeholder management experience. In addition, they should have a history of presenting innovative solutions to audiences both large and small.

Responsibilities\:

  • Recruit and line manage team
  • Coordinate Key Account and  X-LOB sales board and process for each cluster / country in region
  • Establish reporting, governance and prioritization of OEA engagements – to be consistent with all other regions
  • Contribute to and drive largest Oracle SAAS, PAAS and IAAS Cloud deals in EMEA as directed by Key Account leadership and country/cluster board with rigorous sales focus.
  • Work in collaboration with local account team.
  • Lead all consultative selling enabling services including domain architects, sales consulting, IBUs
  • Exercise creativity, independent judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and very complex business solutions utilizing Oracle Cloud services to meet customer needs.
  • Interact with all senior roles at customer – including CIO, CTO, IT Architects and Business executives – becoming a trusted advisor and creating advocacy
  • Introduce team to most senior customer executives and actively secure engagement
  • Lead detailed discovery analysis
  • Conduct repeatable strategy, architecture, roadmap and planning workshops
  • Provide assessment of current state architecture and recommendation of future state cloud architecture
  • Provide detailed sizing and associated justification
  • Identify and evangelize key business and technology benefits of adoption
  • Provide roadmap and migration methodology and identify quick wins
  • Advise on organizational impact of solutions
  • Play an active and leading role as part of the EMEA architecture community
  • Remain fully aware of relevant architectural programs and assets from Oracle worldwide
  • Remain aware of all relevant Cloud developments and references – both at Oracle and at competitors
  • Remain aware of all relevant technology trends across the IT industry.

Skills required\:

  • Wide background including architecture, implementation and delivery of largescale hardware and software systems in real-world situations

  • Wide knowledge of IT market and trends
  • Knowledge of full Oracle Cloud stack
  • Some specific knowledge of Oracle applications
  • Specific knowledge of Oracle industry solutions and applications
  • Specific knowledge of Oracle and competitor hardware solutions
  • Specific knowledge of Oracle database and middleware technology
  • Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including SAAS adoption, cloud adoption, consolidation, networking, virtualization, disaster recovery, information management, Oracle and non Oracle applications
  • Significant successful team leadership experience
  • Significant successful stakeholder management experience
  • 10+ years experience relevant to this position.
