International eCommerce business unit is responsible for all Posti international parcel shipments, both inbound and outbound. The unit includes also our Baltics, Asian and Scandinavian operations, global alliances and partnerships and airport unit.

We want to provide the easiest customs solutions for our customers and consumers. The environment is changing profoundly (e.g. EU IOSS-solutions, VAT-legislation change, possible Brexit and US Stop Act), and we need to adapt to these changes. Our customers – the key global marketplaces – are growing and introducing new platforms – integrations to them is the enabler of export growth of Finnish companies.

Would you be our new experienced

Product Owner - Customs Solutions and Integrations to Global Marketplaces

to lead the agile service development of our Customs solutions and integrations to global marketplaces.

Product Owner develops and maintains a vision for the services and manages the services from concept creation to end of lifecycle. Product Owner is responsible for the design, usability, quality and delivery of a service and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle.

In this new role you will have e2e responsibility for customs solutions (e.g. OmaPosti digital customs solutions) and interfaces to customs through their whole lifecycle. You will work with the business managers, architects, and development teams, and naturally with Customs and our major clients. You will be in a key position to ensure best-in-class customer experience, business, quality and functional goals are met. You will participate and represent Posti customs data forums/peer groups (e.g. UPU, IPC) and plan integrations to global marketplaces to support export sales of Finnish companies. You will also be participating in major sales cases in a subject matter expert role.

Would this be you?

You communicate fluently with both business stakeholders as well as technical stakeholders and act as a bridge builder between various interest groups. You translate high level visions into concrete and executable roadmaps. You inspire and motivate the development team to deliver innovative solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency, and act as an ambassador for the services internally and externally. With your good project management capabilities, you naturally lead also the work with integrations to Customs.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you have genuine interest in eCommerce business and earlier experience as a Product Owner for a service (mobile app / web) for a large number of users. You are familiar with modern mobile app and web front technologies as well as user centric design. Integrations to external systems are familiar to you as well as master data management. You have proven track record on managing significant ICT projects / digital services development. Possible experience of customs operations & global data standards seen as a plus. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience in people leadership also in matrix roles. Like your customers, you likely have a master’s degree in applicable sciences and fluency in Finnish and English languages – both oral & written.

Work location is in Helsinki, with some travel required.
